4 Types of Human Hunger

“Making money isn’t hard in itself,what’s hard is to earn itdoing something worth devoting your life to”
Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Thought of the day…

A question on the panel in #PlentifulLiving101. There are 4 types of hunger where people are striving to be fed.

1. Money – people need more of it. Something is always due or overdue. You fake the funk and rob Peter to pay Paul then go about it as if nothing is wrong with your right. You live in a fantasy because reality is too scary for sight.

An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. –Benjamin Franklin

2. Time – not enough of it exist. Work 8 hours to come home and prepare for tomorrow. You’re too tired to do anything else but complain you don’t have time. Waiting for Friday to eventually realize that it’s Monday already and you’re back to the same routine.

TIme quote
3. Security – nothing is guaranteed but life and death. I hate to inform you, but that good job isn’t either. Don’t be fooled and retire with just a pen. You better hope your 401K is still in tact. You should be accountable to you and everything else should be secondary. It ain’t like it used to be and if it was, don’t you want to be FREE.

“If a company won’t hire you, why don’t you start your own company? Steve Jobs created jobs, he didn’t apply for them. #Startup your dreams.”
Jarod Kintz

Dave Ramsey Quote
4. Spirituality – without it, people are misguided, mislead, misdirected and confused. They focus on external connections versus internal. When spirituality approaches them, they take credit for them being relieved for all of the problems above. Nothing can be done without a great relationship with the supplier. For HE provides a way to get through and be open to something new.

“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved, as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”
Francis of Assisi

Nevertheless, the combination of money, time, security and spirituality can cause one to think long and hard or just continue going about their daily routine of existing and not living. All are needed to survive and thrive. At some point, one must have a conversation with self. Be real!! If there is lack, increase won’t take place until you take action and move in a different direction in one or all areas of your life. Is it time to get busy?

“Always be smarter than the people who hire you.”
Lena Horne

Choosing a Mate That is Right for You

Don’t forget to LOVE yourself..

Finding someone to share your life with can be a challenge. Often times we look in all the wrong places and eventually get stuck with leftovers or trash that is difficult to be disposed of. Love and relationships are two different things. You must ask yourself, which one do you want. In choosing, make certain that you have the time that is needed to invest in what it is you want.
Before you can give of yourself, make certain you are confident in what it is you’re expecting and what it is you want to receive. Have some type of idea of the relationship you are looking for because this is the first step of valuing your time and that of others. Are you seeking a casual companion, a weekend lover or someone to spend the rest of your life with? Develop an idea of what you would call a great mate. While some might say that this limits your choices way too much, it’s possible to both know what you’re looking for and be open to something else.

Love pic1
The most tangible aspect is that you don’t have to settle. The secret sauce in finding a companion is in putting together a list of characteristics of your ideal mate and how you think about that list once you develop it. If you see every characteristic on it as absolutely necessary, you might miss out on meeting a wonderful person. After all, no one is perfect, but someone is perfect for you. If, on the other hand, you see your list as a set of guidelines, having it can help you choose the relationships you do and do not want to pursue. This is critical because far too many people are in a hurry to find a mate without vetting them out. This behavior could lead to all sorts of unhappiness, regret and a possible disaster. Being specific with intention can be beneficial in the long run.

Love make the world go round..

When seeking a relationship, it’s important to identify what you deem as necessary and unnecessary characteristics in a mate. Begin gathering your list by thinking back over past relationships, whether they were romantic in nature or not. Were any fulfilling? Are there any characteristics that other people have that make life incredibly difficult for you? I mean… things that would make you miserable to be around. Or better yet, things that you simply cannot tolerate. In contrast, are there any characteristics that you find absolutely necessary in someone you’re going to be close to? Things that make your heart flutter, your mind think and your life better. Now think about some attributes and aspects you would appreciate or admire in a potential new mate. These should be things that make you feel good and enjoy being around this person. Use these components to help get you started, both in making a list of things you want in a mate and in making another one of things that you don’t want and refuse to deal with. Anything that comes up in these thought exercises is probably pretty important to you and might even make or break a future relationship. So think long and careful about this process.

Love is bigger than one second, one hour and one day..

Just as you list the necessary and unnecessary components, you must acknowledge the desirable and undesirable characteristics too. After you have your lists of necessary and unnecessary characteristics, think about other aspects of people you’ve known that you have enjoyed or that have been hard for you to deal with. These may not be quite as important as the things you just listed, but they are aspects of another person that would be nice to have or to simply avoid. You may want to make these into a separate category on your list. That way, you can separate them in your mind from things that are absolutely necessary or to be avoided. Again, thinking long and hard while being aware and conscientious are key to successfully choosing the right mate.

Your CHOICE can make or break you…

You deserve to be picky. But how picky do you deserve to be. For me, being picky is a big deal. Just as I am careful in planning out other events in my life, I will be just as careful in trying to choose someone who is worthy of my time. After all, choice is a personal decision and it can also be a life-long one as well. Now that you have your list in front of you, it’s up to you to decide how closely you want to stick with it. Again, it’s your choice! Are the characteristics on the list important enough to you that any perfect mate would have to have all of them? On the other hand, are some of them absolutely essential and others you can live with or without? Know that you are free to make whatever choice you want to in this area. This is your life and you should have a say so. This is your relationship you’re considering, so the choices need to be suited to your own preferences and perspectives. In case you are not prepared, remember that choosing to be picky might mean that it is harder to find a mate. No matter how many of these characteristics he or she has, there will still be areas of your relationship that could be difficult in other areas. Relationships should grow. In that process, both of you will change. It is with great hopes that your intentions are to grow together and help each other along the way.

Let me count the ways that I LOVE you…

5 Reasons Why Puppies are Similar to Babies

wp-1455324588209.jpgI have always been a lover of four legged family members. They not only bring joy, but they have a way of making a boring day exciting. The innocent eyes, the playful spirit and the special wagging of the tail makes it a special day when they great you at the door. I have never had a puppy until now. My husband jokes that since all of our dogs have been senior citizens, I’m going through an adjustment period. Lol.. Tell me about it! This has not only been a learning experience, but I feel like I have given birth all over again. This time my newborn baby licks me. Listed below are 5 reasons why puppies are so similar to babies. If you know what I’m talking about, give Zeus a like and wish me luck.

1. They need love too. From day one, they expect you to give them tender loving, nurturing care. If done with sincerity and love, you will create a bond that will last throughout the years. As an adult, you will have developed a best friend, your greatest protector or your biggest problem if not given the proper attention and stable structure for growth and development.
2. They didn’t ask to be here. It was the decision of an adult no matter how conceived in wedlock or out of it. The mother and/or father made that decision. Why punish the puppy for the parents choices? Make it work and learn how to become acquainted. I keep telling myself this one over and over again…
3. They need to be potty trained. This is a marathon with kids and a transition with puppies. They have a mind of their own. Trying to adjust to an adults schedule and guidance is an adjustment. That’s why patience is a virtue and you must exhibit it so that they become confident in the process.
4. They require attention. Neglect them and it’s the beginning of destruction. They will do something you dislike or tear up something you treasure. You will pay at some point in their lives. Ignoring them will entice them to be disobedient. Acknowledging their existence will cause them to love you forever. Which may result in them growing up to be your best friend because you were attentive and gave them the love they deserved.
5. They get just as many oooos and ahhhs.. When out in public, people want to pet them just like people want to hold a baby. Often times, the puppies fear or trust of the other is met with a growl or a tail wagging just like a cry or a smile for a baby, their emotions are felt.

Zeus has made our family happy. Especially with the loss of our other four legged friend several years ago. I’m starting to get used to his presence and his company. I think he’s a keeper!!

“If you count all your assets you always show a profit.”

Wilson Mizner

Wise investments pay hefty dividends. Knowing where to place your resources enable you to have more control over your market and have less fear in its volatility. In life, we have more control over things than not. Depending on priorities, we decide which if any, gets attention. Therefore, the decision to be proactive and invest versus reactive and guessing, can enable you to live a more profitable life.

1. Relationships – great connections with people allow you to excel in life. They hold you up when you are down and lift you up as you continue to rise. It nurtures your confidence to have good ones. Good relationships give long life and bad ones can cause disease. Examine who is good for you and who is not. Put each in its perspective and place. Don’t give in to dropping stock, invest in long-term growth. People who are by your side and tell you when you are right and wrong have proven to be great finds.

2. Health – Your health is your wealth because without it, you are broke. Poor health robs you of a rich lifestyle. It imprisons you to medication and ultimately affects your entire portfolio and limits your growth. Great investments in eating healthier foods, cutting back on things you know you shouldn’t have and letting go of things that exploit your vessel will optimize your performance across the board. What you eat, you become. Incorporate balance in your diet, exercise, think great thoughts and love the body you are in.

Health quotes
3. Spirituality – This gives you balance, power and authority. It builds confidence in you and gratefulness in your gifts. It provides fulfillment to hopes and wishes. When you can call on or go to something that is bigger than you, it gives you peace and security to know that things will not only get better, but that you will be alright. Spirituality gives confirmation that greater is HE that is in you than he that is in this world. You not only handle conflict and misfortunes better, you face the battle with understanding that it’s not yours.

4. Income – It’s a survival mechanism, a tool for stability and advancement as well as a means to be a blessing to others. Without it, hardship exist. The more you know about it and how to grow it, the more you will acquire. Income has no limits when strategically planned out. In most instances, you are in control of how many zero’s you add to your life.

Income Quote

You are the primary beneficiary to a life full of wealth, including great relationships, excellent health, strong spirituality and increased income. These are your assets that can prove valuable trifold. Your decisions can make or break you in these instances. What you place priority on and give attention to grows exponentially with great investments.

5 Ways to Create Demand for Your Product

Competition is steep and product/service supply is saturated. What are you doing to make certain that you are not only selling something to make a profit, but creating longevity to  stay in the game of being in business. You must create demand that lasts and conversation that delivers repeat business.

1. Share compelling benefits – What is it about your product that can help me in my life? How can it help others achieve their goals and objectives? Benefits create repeat customers because people are buying it for a reason, the benefits. This is something that can’t be bargained with and often times the benefits will win over even if price is an issue. Remember this.. benefits sell.
2. Share responsive features – What makes your product different? How do you compare to everything else that is on the market? The features should be the trigger to push the buy button for the customer. The features should be so awesome that it entices others to want to try and eventually buy. Remember this.. features tel.
3. Make your product or service applicable to your specific audience and their followers – When you are seeking product conversion, you should be examining two perspectives. That of the intended customer and the customer who will share. Therefore, you must make your product attractive and created specifically and uniquely for that customer who is a perfect match
4. Develop a sales team and a promotional campaign of satisfied customers – Your sales team will be your cheerleaders, your board members and your advertisement all for little to no compensation. You want to make certain that they are pleased with everything from customer service to packaging, to how and what others perceive you as. Your sales team will be your worst critique or your best sponsor.
5. Collaborate with a business owner who has a complementary product – Partnerships create big things. Some of the green is better than none at all. Seek out others who share comparable products and services. By packaging yours with there’s, not only do you open up the doors for a new audience, you will provide more value and substance to the customer.

5 Reasons Why My 2015 will Always be Memorable

wp-1451678153902.jpg1. My first born graduated from high school and went to college. Outside of giving birth, this was one of the biggest adjustments in my life. I had to see my son as a young adult and not as an infant I brought home from the hospital 17 yrs ago. I could only assume that his dad and I had given him the tools he needed to go out into this big world away from home.
2. I met so many wonderful people online and off. The ability to correspond with new lives and ideas not only allowed me to stretch in my already growing life, it gave me the courage to know it’s ok to have a dream bigger than you. In essence, we can impact the lives of others and they can do the same for us. This tribe kept me accountable. They made me feel guilty for not reaching my goals in a timely manner. After being swiftly put in check, I refocused and challenged myself to go the extra mile.
3. I became more conscientious of who I am spiritually, mentally, physically and politically. I wanted clarity for my reason for being here on this earth. All too often we go on what was taught without any investigation as to why. We don’t question, we just accept. Well enough is enough. Instead of just saying and being what I was told, I chose to step out the box and research more. In doing so, I am confident to speak, live and achieve on each area where I often felt uncomfortable.
4. I traveled to places, saw new stuff and did new things. It’s always been a part of my life and I’ve done it every year prior too multiple times. But this year it was different and done with less stress and worry. Instead of taking a trip, which most of us are accustomed to doing, I took vacations. There is a difference in case you didn’t know. A trip confines you and is often done on your budget. You have to plan for it in advance, take time off from work and A vacation is at the expense of others. You just do it on a whim without permission from anyone. You enjoy all of the amenities without a dime of it coming out of your pocket. I learned this method and way of life from my rich friends. They taught me tips and strategies of entrepreneurship and enjoying the good life. Your NETWORK is truly your NETWORTH.
5. I finally saw a profit again after almost 3 years. Even though i’ve been in business for over 20 years, the economy has been on a roller coaster and seemed to shift in every direction. I began to reevaluate everything and everybody in my life in 2015. Every way that I knew, learned and was taught to make a living, I was doing it wrong all along. It wasn’t until I stepped out of my comfort zone and started hanging around people who were sick and tired of being sick and tired. They too prayed and dreamed of more out of life besides the daily grind. It wasn’t just all about the money, it was about having a life that gave more rewards and dividends just for showing up.
